"Organizations like ISIS may seek to exploit increased gatherings associated with the upcoming June 2024 Pride Month," the announcement stated. The agencies highlighted that the terror threat is "compounded" by the "current heightened threat environment" in the United States. They cautioned that threats could come via mail, in person, or online, but did not provide specific details.
The bulletin also noted that June 12, 2024, marks the eighth anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub mass shooting in Orlando, where 49 people were killed.
