Athletes representing over 100 countries tackled the 128th Boston Marathon today. While the majority of the nearly 30,000 runners crossing the Boylston finish line won't claim prizes, a select few will emerge as champions. Here are the winners.

Men's Professional Division:

1. Sisay Lemma, hailing from Ethiopia, finished the race in 2:06:17.
2. Mohamed Esa, representing Ethiopia, crossed the line in 2:06:58.
3. Evans Chebet, from Kenya, completed the course in 2:07:22. Chebet previously claimed victory in the Boston Marathon in 2022 and 2023.

Women's Professional Division:

1. Hellen Obiri, representing Kenya, completed the race in 2:22:37, marking her second consecutive Boston Marathon triumph.
2. Sharon Lokedi, also from Kenya, finished in 2:22:45.
3. Edna Kiplagat, representing Kenya, crossed the line in 2:23:21.

Men's Wheelchair Division:

1. Marcel Hug, representing Switzerland, finished with what appears to be a new course record of 1:15:33. Hug has now secured victory in the Boston Marathon wheelchair division seven times.
2. Daniel Romanchuk, from the United States, completed the race in 1:20:37.
3. David Weir, representing the United Kingdom, finished in 1:22:12.See More
