Review: Zack Snyder's "Rebel Moon Part 2," specifically "The Scargiver," proves to be even more disappointing than its predecessor.

"Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver" sees Sofia Boutella as Kora in Zack Snyder's space saga. If you enjoy lingering shots of space dwellers and muscular, shirtless warriors harvesting wheat with seemingly endless scythes, then "Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver" might be your cup of tea. Surprisingly, the sequel to Zack Snyder's space epic proves to be even more tiresome and lacking in innovation than its predecessor, "Rebel Moon Part 1: A Child Of Fire."

There's little to praise here apart from the brief appearances of Jimmy the Robot (voiced by Anthony Hopkins), who delivers some standout moments in an otherwise underwhelming narrative. Unfortunately, the film falls short in delivering a compelling storyline.

Spoilers ahead.

Building upon the setup from the previous installment, "The Scargiver" concludes the Seven Samurai / Magnificent Seven-inspired plotline. She rallies a group of heroes, including local farmer Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), to confront the imperial army and save their community.See More
